I thought that it would be a peaceful day. Looks like it was my wishful thinking. I can't believe a person of a certain grade could gave an advice that was so oblivious to the situation.
Oh well, I suppose as long as that person is not implicated, anything else is others' problem. On the other hand, it speaks for itself the type of leadership.
Not that I am much of a leader. However, I believe a leader is always responsible for the work of anyone in the team, regardless whether the leader is doing the work personally or not. Maybe I am asking too much. This definitely does not happen in my previous place.
